Mother's Letter:

Dear Geoff,

Congratulations on this excellent website.

Anything which can alleviate the pain experienced by the same sex attracted young person when confronted by a hostile school environment, is truly welcomed.

Though it is a few years since our son Kieran was the victim of consistent harrassment at the school which we had selected for him, the pain and sense of betrayal still lingers.

Knowing that he used to lie in bed each school night dreading that which lay ahead for him on the next day, still causes pain . The weekends brought him a little respite, but with the inevitability of Monday morning his fears returned.

Despite the notion that we are moving towards becoming a more decent and accepting society, the reality is that pockets of extreme bigotry still exist, and when they exist within a school community, what should be some of life's happiest days are in reality sheer unmitigated hell.

Education , I believe, is the key to ending bigotry in all its ugliness and this website goes a long way in achieving just this.

Once again, Geoff my most sincere congratulations on the design , the ideals, and the objectives of this website.
